Requires the Dept. of State Health Services to implement a disease prevention information system<\/p>
Adds a meningitis vaccine booster to the list of vaccines required for school enrollment; does not remove current exemptions<\/p>
Adopts a procedure for first responder applicants to be provided with their own immunization information included in the vaccine registry or with information about the vaccine registry if they have not already opted into the registry<\/p>
Requires assisted living facilities to provide annual flu vaccine information to each resident <\/p>
Allows access, with consent, to first responder’s immunization history in the registry by the first responder and their employer<\/p>
Allows pharmacists to administer vaccines to children 7 and older without a doctor’s prescription<\/p>
Requires insurance plans to cover CDC-recommended vaccines without co-pays or deductibles<\/p>
Requires insurance plans to provide coverage for meningitis vaccines<\/p>
