The company cited low demand for the vaccine as the reason for the decision.&nbsp;<\/p><p>However, we all know it was because the FDA could no longer promote big pharma\u2019s toxic failure, as the J&amp;J vaccine was also associated with a serious side effect called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.com\/condition\/infectious-diseases\/coronavirus\/johnson-and-johnson-guillain-barre-syndrome\">Guillain-Barr\u00e9 syndrome<\/a> which causes paralysis.<\/p><p>The J&amp;J vaccine was originally authorized for use in the United States in February 2021. However, the vaccine&#8217;s reputation was tarnished just one month later, when the FDA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/news-events\/press-announcements\/joint-cdc-and-fda-statement-johnson-johnson-covid-19-vaccine\">announced<\/a> that it was investigating a link between the vaccine and several serious side effects, such as blood clots.&nbsp;<\/p><p>In the months that followed, the number of people getting the J&amp;J vaccine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmm-online.com\/home\/channel\/lower-covid-19-vaccine-sales-contribute-to-quarterly-decline-for-jj\/\">declined sharply<\/a>.<\/p><p>This shot was one of three COVID-19 vaccines authorized for use in the United States.
