We are celebrating 4 significant wins and the simultaneous death of dozens of bad bills and amendments. If not for the tireless participation from TFVC supporters statewide, we would not have accomplished so much. Our most important win this session was by far HB 44. It is now prohibited for Medicaid and CHIP contracted doctors in Texas to deny care to patients not vaccinated on schedule. YOU MADE THIS HAPPEN!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><em><b>BUT THE WORK CONTINUES<\/b><\/em><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is still much unfinished business, and Texans cannot wait another 2 years to address some of these issues. We are asking you to join us in urging Gov. Abbott to place the following on a Special Session call:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1- The Texas COVID Vaccine Freedom Act: This bill would enshrine Informed Consent in Texas law and protect ALL Texans from COVID jab discrimination<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2- Limiting Unelected Bureaucrat Power: Requiring school immunization policy changes be passed through the legislative process and not through unchecked agency rule<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3- Patient Discrimination: Prohibiting vaccine requirements for any medical care<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4- Parental Rights: Amending the Texas Constitution so that parents have the ultimate say in directing their children\u2019s medical
