December 5, 2022.<\/strong> Yesterday, Governor Greg Abbott joined 20 Republican Governors demanding an end to vaccine mandates for U.S. Military service members.<\/p><p>In addition to announcing this partnership, Abbott said he expects legislation this session to ban all COVID vaccine mandates in Texas, a position long advocated for by Texans for Vaccine Choice.<\/p><p>TFVC Executive Director Christine Welborn said, \u201cthis, along with Abbott\u2019s recent announcement protecting Texas students from mandates, is an important step in the right direction that is only possible due to continual work from activists.\u201d<\/p><p>Rep. Brian Harrison and others are filing bills to accomplish this and other medical freedom measures.
